If you are looking for software to read the screen aloud We have tried the free HAL Reader . When you run the install program it will set HAL up so it starts every time you start Windows. HAL has crashed a few times, but worked again after closing the browser and restarting it. To read a web page you need to highlight all the text and copy to the clipboard. In Firefox the key sequence is {Ctrl}+{a} to select All and then {Ctrl}+{c} to copy to clipboard. HAL will then start speaking. HAL also speaks any windows pop ups without being requested. Some downloadable forms are in Adobe Portable Document Format(PDF)- download the Reader here (approx 19Mb).
